Accused nabbed at Udupi, Karnataka
Vasco police claimed a breakthrough in kidnapping case of a minor girl who was kidnapped from her legal guardians.
Upon the complaint being registered at Vasco police station, an investigative team was sent to Karnataka where the accused along with the victim was traced at Udupi, Karnataka.
The accused J Yamnoor, resident of Birla, Vasco was taken in police custody and further investigations into the case are on.
A general stores at Tisk, Ponda was burned to ashes when a short circuit caused fire-breakout during the late hours of Thursday night. The fire caused by short circuit at Vinayak Stores claimed a damage of ₹8 lakh, before the fire personnel could extinguish the fire.
