With this the total number of candidates who filed their nominations comes to 131, while the total number of nominations is 238.
Five candidates have filed nominations in ward 1, three in ward 2, two in ward 3, three each in ward 4 and 5, two in ward 6, four each in ward 7 and 8, two in ward 9, three in ward 10, one in ward 11, four in ward 12, one in ward 13, three in ward 14, two each in ward 15 and 16, three in ward 17, four each in ward 18 and 19, one each in ward 20 and 21, three in ward 22, one in ward 23, six in ward 24, seven in ward 25, two in ward 26, one in ward 27 and four each in wards of 28, 29 and 30.
The scrutiny of nominations will be held on February 17 and 18, while the list of validly nominated candidates will be published on February 19.
While the last date of withdrawal of candidature is February 20 from 10 am to 3 pm, the final list of candidates will be published on the same day.
