Cheating plaint at Pernem
PERNEM: A sales executive from Shirgal-Amerewado in Dhargal-Pernem has been accused of cheating a company at Tuem Industrial Estate to the tune of Rs 7 lakh.
According to Pernem Police, the proprietor of a cashew nut factory at Tuem Industrial Estate, Pernem, complained that the accused sales executive, who is a native of Sindhudurg, was entrusted with the work of supplying cashew nuts and collecting the amount from different customers.
The complainant further stated that the accused misappropriated cash of Rs 7 lakh, which was collected by the accused by selling cashew nuts to different customers. Police is investigating the case.
