Deadline over road in Priol
PONDA: The Ponda branch of Shiv Sena has set a deadline to the PWD of 15 days to repair the road at Chirpute in Priol constituency, failing which they have threatened to agitate.
According to Ghanshyam Naik, deputy chief of Ponda taluka Shiv Sena, the road proceeding towards Chirpute has developed potholes and needs urgent attention.
“We demand asphalting of the road within the next 15 days, failing which we will agitate in front of the PWD office,” Naik warned.
Naik claimed that many accidents have occurred in the area due to potholes on the road.
