Chicalim sarpanch resignd
VASCO: Chicalim Sarpanch Prajoti Kudalkar has submitted her resignation to the Directorate of Panchayat.
According to sources at the panchayat, Kudalkar was elected as sarpanch for three months and as her term is over, she submitted her resignation to make way for another panch.
Chicalim Panchayat has 11 panchas and the post of sarpanch has been reserved for women. The source added that Kudalkar will continue to hold the charge as sarpanch till September 29, to conduct the panchayat meeting and after that will hand over the charge to deputy sarpanch Kamla Prasad Yadav.
