CM inspects Mandrem projects
PERNEM: Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar on Tuesday inspected the construction work of a multipurpose hall at Mandrem.
The hall is being constructed by GSIDC at a cost of Rs 1.2 crore. Mandrem deputy sarpanch Subhash Asolkar, panch Ramesh Shet Mandrekar, former ZP member Deepak Kalangutkar, Mandrem BJP vice-president Prakash Shetgoankar, Jagganath Parsekar and others were present.
Speaking to reporters, Parsekar said the contractor has assured to complete the work in the specified period of time.
It may be recalled that on the occasion of Parsekar's birthday, he had laid the foundation stone for Kerim Panchayat hall, Mandrem hall and air-conditioned hall and over Rs 3.5 crore has been allotted for the construction of all the three halls.
