The Congress on Sunday said that it never craved for power but whenever it was in the government it helped in developing constituencies represented both by the ruling as well as the opposition MLAs.
“Congress is not power hungry and will never be. But whenever we were in the government we helped in developing constituencies cutting across party lines,” said Vijay Bhike, North Goa District President.
He said projects like the North Goa District Hospital at Peddem and the present fish and vegetable markets were all initiated by the Congress.
