The Chamber of Tax Consultants (CTC) organised the 45th edition of the Residential Refresher Course (RRC) which is being held at The Zuri White Sands, Varca from June 9 to June 12.The CTC, Mumbai a Non-Profit Organisation established in 1926 with an objective of educating and updating its members on Direct Taxes and other Allied Laws, every year organises a RRC on Direct taxes at various locations throughout India, for its members.
The inaugural session was held on June 9 and the Chief Minister Pramod Sawant graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. He was welcomed by Ketan Vajani, President, Parag Ved, Vice-President, Hinesh Doshi, Past President, Bhavik Shah, Chairman of the RRC Committee, Kishor Vanjara, Advisor to the RRC committee, Ankit Sanghavi and Darshak Shah, Vice-Chairmen, Pratik Doshi and Vishal Shah, Convenors of the RRC committee.
The CM shared his views on the topic of 'Importance of tax professionals in shaping the future of India' with over 200 delegates attending from over 29 different cities, and 13 states, highlighting the fact that the tax professionals act as a bridge between the tax payers and the taxman and are the partners of the government in nation-building.
Other than the technical discussion, the CM also invited the members with open arms to explore the Goa.
The Chamber has a robust membership strength of about 4,000 professionals, comprising Chartered Accountants, Advocates and Tax Practitioners.
The CTC regularly organises workshops, seminars, lecture meetings, study circle meetings, study group meetings, education courses, outstation conferences, etc for the benefit of members and professionals at large.
