PANAJI: Goa Dental College and Hospital in collaboration with Indian Dental Association (Goa State Branch) will be celebrating 'Dentist Day' on March 5. The celebration aims at bringing all practicing dentists in Goa together on a common platform. The chief guest for this function will be Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar, who will be unveiling the IDA Journal and the 'Tobacco Cessation and Oral Hygiene Awareness' campaign t-shirts. This gathering is being organised by the Dean of Goa Dental College and Hospital, Dr. Anita Spadigam, chairman of the organising committee, Dr Vikas Dhupar and organising secretary of the committee, Dr Francis Akkara. The event will be held at Goa Dental College and Hospital from 7 pm onwards.
