DHS signs MoU with ISDT

PANAJI:

The Directorate of Health Services has inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Indian Society of Dental Traumatology (ISDT) under which the latter will disseminate dental traumatology related training and create awareness about it among health care professionals and allied workers in Goa.

Health Secretary, Arun Kumar Mishra, IAS, signed the MoU on behalf of the Government of Goa while the Indian Society of Dental Traumatology was represented by its President Dr M S Muthu.

Goa Dental College Dean, Dr Ida de Noronha de Ataide, and Dr Steven Rodrigues, Senior Professor in the Department of Pedodontics & Preventive Dentistry were also at the MoU signing event.

The MoU according to ISDT is a major milestone in creating awareness on dental trauma and to enhance capacity in scientific management of traumatic dental injuries.
