Divar school's field trip to Ella Farm
PANAJI: A science field trip was conducted to ICAR Ella Farm Old Goa for the students of Class VII and VIII of Our Lady of Divar High School. The students were guided by farm superintendent Vinod Urardhande who explained the different species of plants and animals managed by ICAR by taking them around the premises on a two-hour session.
The field trip was led by laboratory assistant Socorro Fernandes and teachers Piety and Cliffa under the guidance of Headmaster Mario Moraes.
Meanwhile, The Goan In School team of Green Army led by the general manager Jayesh Walker and Cleophas Caiado will visit the school on July 9, to celebrate Van Mohatsav in the school by planting four hundred saplings. Socorro and teacher Anthony are the main coordinators of this programme.
