Vidhyanand Divkar has been elected as the president of the United Taximen Union (UTU), an association that has about 300 yellow-black taxis operating at the Airport.
The new committee of UTU for 2021-2022 was elected at a meeting in the Comunidade Hall at Mangor.
The office bearers elected were Vidhyanand Divkar (president), Rama Naik (vice president), Prasad Prabhugaonkar (general secretary), Mukesh Naik (assistant secretary), Sainath Salgaonkar (treasurer), Dinesh Shetye (assistant treasurer) and Anand Pednekar, Pratap Kerkar and Suhas Naik (executive members).
