Dr Chopdekar conferred PhD
BICHOLIM: Hanumant Chopdekar of Haturlim-Mayem and professor at Parvatibai Chowgule College Margao has been conferred with the PhD from Goa University.
He was awarded the degree by Goa University Chancellor and Governor Mridula Sinha at a function organised recently.
Dr Chopdekar has done his PhD on the thesis 'State language movement of Konkani and a scientific valuation of a social language'.
He was guided by late Dr Madhavi Sardesai and Prof Uday Bhembre of BB Borkar division of Goa University.
