Drums prog on Mar 9
PANAJI: Directorate of Art and Culture, in collaboration with International Centre for Cultural Relations (ICCR), New Delhi will organise a western percussion instrumentation musical programme - Delton Drums Syndicate' a band based in Brussels, Belgium featuring Marc Van Eyck and Renaud Van Hooland, both leading drummers, on March 9, at 6.30 pm at Institute Menezes Branganza Hall, Panaji.
Daltun Drum Syndicate (DDS) Marck is a leading drummer who had performed at lot of festivals such as Cap Sud Festival, Tembours De fete Charveille (France) MTV night Belgium etc and played with numerous bands like Largo with whom they toured Europe. Started playing drums on soap boxes at the age of eight in 1994.
The 2nd drummer Hooland studied drums with Bruno Castellueei at Royal Conservatory in Brussels from 1996 to 2000. He played in Django d’Or event for Viva Musica festival and participated in events for Corona in Italy with DJ and dancers, concerts with the Klezmer Jazz Bandin in Greece. Currently he teaches in Waterloo in European school in Brussels.
