Deputy Superintendent of Police, CL Patil was given a warm farewell as he retired from the Goa Police Department.
District police Chief, SP Abhishek Dhania handed over a memento to the DySP Patil in the presence of DySP Shivenu Bhushan and others at the district police headquarters on Tuesday.
Patil had joined the police force as a constable in August 1982.
He got selected as Police Sub-Inspector through the Goa Public Service Commission in 1997 and was promoted to the post of PI in 2005. He has worked at many police stations, including Mapusa, Ponda, Margao, Anjuna, Pernem, besides the Crime branch. He is also a recipient of the President’s and Chief Minister’s medal.
