EV gutted in fire at Colva

An electric scooter was gutted in a fire at Colva on Sunday noon, causing a loss of Rs 1.18 lakh. Margao fire brigade rushed to Colva on Sunday noon following a call that an electric bike is engulfed in a major fire.

Fire Officer Gill D’Sa informed that the incident occurred at Colva near Mendis bar on Sunday noon. He said the bike has been gutted in a fire, causing loss of property worth Rs 1.18 lakh. Further investigations are on.
