The Fatorda police have registered a FIR against unknown persons in connection with a missing file from the office of the Salcete mamlatdar.
Fatorda police station in-charge, PI Ditendra Naik informed that the police has registered the case following a complaint received from the Salcete Mamlatdar, Laxmikhant Desai.
He, however, said the police has started investigations whether the file from the office has gone missing or has been stolen from the office.
Sources said the Salcete mamlatdar had stated that the tenancy file has been found missing during the inventory in the office.
The police is investigating.
