Porvorim Police have registered an FIR in connection with fraudulent allotment of a plot owned by the Serula Comunidade.
Porvorim Police Inspector Rahul Parab said a complaint was lodged by the Administrator of Comunidades (North Zone) Sagar Gaude alleging that a plot owned by Comunidade of Serula in Salvador do Mundo had been fraudulently allotted to one Agostinho D’Silva on the basis of a fake temporary possession certificate.
Further, D’Silva has illegally built a house on the plot, stated PI Parab.
PI Parab said the police have registered an offence under Sections 465, 468, 471, 420 of IPC for forgery and cheating government authorities.
“Further investigation is in progress and more accused persons are likely to be identified in the present crime,” said PI Parab.
