Two passengers from Kerala detained.
Foreign currency equivalent to approximately ₹11.40 lakh was recovered from two passengers at Goa International Airport, Dabolim on Sunday.
According to the Airport officials, the Air Intelligence Unit of Goa Customs intercepted two international passengers, natives of Kasaragod, Kerala at the Departure Hall. The passengers were travelling to Dubai via Goa by Air India flight.
The said currency was seized under the provision of Customs Act 1962.
