Foreign tobacco products seized in Margao

Around 127 packages of foreign cigarettes, hookah pots and hookah flavour have been seized by Department of Legal Metrology, Margao near the Margao flyover on Wednesday.

The seizure was conducted as the packages did not bear the mandatory Maximum Retail Price as required under Legal Metrology Act 2009 read with Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules.
