PANAJI: Dr Shailesh Bandodkar (gen surgeon) in association with IMA Bardez will be organizing a free laparoscopic hernia, gallstone and appendicitis screening camp on March 12, between 4 pm to 7 pm, at Vision Hospital, Duler, Mapusa.

Patients desirous to avail the benefit of the free consultations are requested to kindly call the hospital for appointments.

Besides free consultation, camp patients who require surgery will be given a discount on surgical fees and hospital charges.

Urban SHG mela at MargaoPANAJI: The Goa State Urban Development Agency (GSUDA) will be holding a three-day urban self help group mela from March 8 to 10, under National Urban Livelihood Mission (NULM) programme at Lohia Maidan, Margao. A State-level fancy dress competition for women will be held in two groups (10 to 16 years and from 18 to 60 years) on March 9, from 4 pm to 6 pm.
