Gera Developments has launched a unique residential project at Kadamba Plateau called ‘Gera’s River of Joy’. What makes this project unique is a host of amenities which have been provided for the holistic development of children. Needless to say, then, that the project is aimed at young couples, who either have kids or are planning to start a family.
Gera’s River of Joy has tie-ups with some of the best professional coaching academies in India like Mahesh Bhupati Tennis Academies, Bhaichung Bhutia Football Schools and also academies of Shiamak Davar, Anil Kumble and Shankar Mahadevan. It also has a tie-up with Michael Phelps Swimming Academy.
In fact, Mahesh Bhupati, Bhaichung Bhutia and Shiamak Davar were present with Rohit Gera, managing Director, Gera Developments at the launch of the project. Speaking to media persons, Rohit Gera said, “Young India is highly aspirational. We want our children to do so much better than we did. Taking this into consideration, we are launching child centric homes in Goa. There are four pillars to this project “ development of children, fun for children, safety of children and convenience for parents.”
In modern day due to fast-paced life, parents find it very tough to find a balance between giving best upbringing to their children and yet focusing on their own professions. By ensuring that best of training academies are present within the project, Gera’s River of Joy is an attempt to help young parents in finding an accommodation, which is right for their children’s growth and also for their lives.
Gera Developments has even localised the project to suit the culture of Goa. Rohit Gera said, “In Pune, we don’t have a football academy in our child-centric project. But, in Goa, knowing that there is a passion for football, we are bringing Bhaichung Bhutia Football Schools as well.”
Gera’s River of Joy will have one and two bed room apartments and also two and three bedroom cluster-villas and row-houses. Rohit Gera informed, “52% of our project is already sold. We expect to complete the project in 2020.”
Speaking at the launch, Mahesh Bhupati, said, “Tennis is considered as an exclusive sport in India, which is correct also to an extent because to play it you have to join a club. When a corporate like Gera Developments came to us and assured to build an academy in a project itself, we thought that it is a great opportunity to put as many racquets as possible in the hands of children.”
Rohit Gera further clarified, “The training academies inside the project will be open both to the owners and the tenants of flats/villas in the project.”
