Giants Group award function held
MAPUSA: Giants Group of Porvorim and Giants Group of Khorlim were awarded the outstanding groups in federation 10 for 2015 at the 7th Federation 10 Giants International convention organised recently at Socorro panchayat hall.
The convention was inaugurated by chief guest, Adv Jerry Santamaria, while Ashok Hukkeri, central committee member and the chairman International Award, was the guest of honour.
Adv Santamaria congratulated Federation 10 and its members for their service projects to the weaker section of the society.
Ashok Hukkeri appealed to all the giants to stress for value-based service projects and complimented all the award winners.
All the giants and saheli group presented their power point programmes regarding the projects conducted in 2015.
The unit and federation awards were presented by Federation 10 president Vinay Dhuri, Ashok Hukkeri and Deepak D’Souza, special committee member.
Federation 10 president Vinay Dhuri welcomed, while secretary Vasudev Bicholkar proposed the vote of thanks. Sudan Naik Gaonkar vice president compered the function.
