PANAJI
Perhaps for the first time in more than a decade, Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar was spotted sporting Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) fatigues at the Hindu Chetana Sangam meeting of the RSS on Sunday.
The function which saw a thin attendance of volunteers of the nationwide organisation also witnessed the presence of Panaji MLA Siddharth Kuncaliencar as well as several other prominent RSS volunteers in the city.
While Parrikar has attended RSS meetings between his previous public appearance in RSS fatigues and now, he has not been seen in the uniform and more so since the organisation decided to undertake a change in the uniform from short trousers to long ones.
Parrikar, who sat towards the back appeared deep in thought throughout the event, and was later seen interacting with RSS leaders present on the occasion.
