Opposition Leader Yuri Alemao along with the other two Goa Congress MLAs -- Carlos Ferreira Alvares and Altone D’Costa -- and the State party president Amit Patkar joined the ‘Bharat Jodo’ yatra and walked with Congress MP Rahul Gandhi in Rajasthan on Friday.
Alvares posted pictures of them walking with Gandhi on his wall on social media media platform Facebook.
Alvares also posted pictures of the four Goa leaders with Rajasthan Chief Minister Àshok Gehlot. Another had picture had them with Sachin Pilot in the frame.
“Joined the Bharat Jodo Yatra today in Rajasthan for #100DaysOfYatra along with our Leader of Opposition Yuri Alemao and MLA Altone D’costa and GPCC President Amit Patkar,” Alvares said in the post, adding they walked with Rahul Gandhi and lakhs of other Congress Karyakartas together for a better India.
“Together we are stronger and united we can bring a good change for our country,” he’s further wrote.
“Glad to have met up with Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot and Congress Leader Sachin Pilot on the sidelines of #BharatJodoYatra and shared ideas on how to strengthen the Congress Party,” Alvares said.
