Gold stolen from Brit at Arpora-Nagoa

A maid apparently made good her escape with gold ornaments from her British employer at Arpora-Nagoa.

In a complaint at the Calangute Police station, Annie Marie Watts, a UK national staying at Wingers Villa, Arpora-Nagoa, stated that her maid stole her gold ornaments, consisting of three rings, a chain and a bangle, sometime between 8 am on April 28 and 5.50 pm on April 29.

An offence has been registered under Section 381of IPC and further investigation is being conducted by Calangute Police.
