Govt mulls mandatory registration of ‘bouncers’, plans to introduce bill

The government plans to introduce a new bill that will mandate the registration of personal bouncers, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant announced on Tuesday. Speaking in the House, Chief Minister Sawant highlighted the lack of recognition for bouncers and stressed the need for their proper registration.

This new legislation aims to regulate the profession and ensure that bouncers are officially recognised and registered. The bill will address current gaps in the system, providing a structured framework for the employment and recognition of personal bouncers.
