Guv to address civic chiefs
PANAJI: The Governor, Dr Mridula Sinha, who is a brand ambassador for Swachh Bharat in her efforts to achieve the objectives of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, will address the Mayor and Corporators of the Corporation of City of Panaji and the chairpersons and councillors of the Mapusa, Ponda, Bicholim Sankhalim, Valpoi and Pernem municipal councils on May 23, at Raj Bhavan.
She will also have subsequent meeting with the chairpersons and councillors of Margao, Mormugao, Sanguem, Cuncolim, Canacona, Curchorem and Quepem municipal councils on May 24, at Raj Bhavan.
In the past, the Governor has addressed voluntary organizations, municipal chairpersons, sarpanchas, college principals, hoteliers, industrialists, real estate developers, media personalities, doctors, hospitals authorities, religious heads, self-help group women leaders, headmasters, heads of departments and semi-government organizations and others.
