High school opens in Assonora
BICHOLIM: Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar inaugurated the newly-constructed Srimati Premavati Naik High School instituted by Assanora Gramvikas Sanstha’s Shri Saraswati Vidhya Mandir at Assonora.
Tivim MLA Kiran Kandolkar, Bicholim MLA Naresh Sawal, ZP member Govind Kubal, Assonora Sarpanch Sapana Mapari, Panch Hema Naik and Goa Vidhyabharati president Rajendra Bhobe were present.
Speaking on the occasion, Parsekar said the institution will be successful like Hedgewar High School, if efforts are put in.
Parsekar felicitated donors from Assonora area “ Jairam Kamat, Kiran Kandolkar, Poonam Chari, Rajendra Bhobe, Shripad Joshi, Vinod Mapari, Santosh Naik, Ashok Naik, Dr Umesh Dhume, Jatin Amonkar and Adv Shubhada Desai.
