Verna Police arrested a history sheeter, Shekkapa Gaudar of Zuarinagar, on Tuesday.
Sources in Verna police station said the accused was hiding in Sada-Vasco after involvement in assault case.
“We received a complaint from one Goudappa Hiregoudar of Zuarinagar that the accused along with 10-15 people had attacked his son, Yamnur (35) on Sunday with a wooden stick, causing head injuries,” said the source.
Verna police have arrested the accused under Sections 143, 144, 326 read with 149 IPC and further investigation is being carried out under the supervision of PI Melson Colaco and guidance of Mormugao DySP Salim Shaikh.
