Janvi is Revora dy Sarpanch
MAPUSA: Janvi Mandrekar was elected as the new deputy sarpanch of Revora on Thursday.
With no other person applying for the post, Mandrekar was declared elected unopposed as the deputy sarpanch in the 7-member panchayat.
Navnath Amre was the observer for the election. Panch, Arjun Kauthankar proposed Mandrekar’s name while Sadanand Bagkar seconded it.
In the seven-member panchayat, two panch members “ Shanti Mayenkar and Umesh Goankar “ remained absent.
