Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant and KLE Society chairperson Dr Prabhakar Kore will be among the several leaders to formally inaugurate the ‘BSC-The Textile Mall’, the largest textile mall in the three states of Goa, Karnataka and Maharashtra at Belagavi on Sunday at 10.30 am.
Several ministers from both the states are likely to be present for the formal inauguration, following the soft launch earlier this week.
Spread across five floors and a total of one lakh square feet, BSC will be catering to all the sections of consumers across the region. The fully air-conditioned mall is located at Shukrawar Peth near the first railway gate at Tilakwadi.
With huge space, widest collection and highly competitive rates and ample parking facility, Goans are expected to have an entirely refreshing shopping experience here.
Speaking to media persons, Director B C Chandrashekhar said the brand BSC was established in 1938 at Davangare. Since then, the group has flourished to become the topmost retail brand.
“Customers from Goa, Belagavi and Kolhapur used to reach at BSC mall Davangere. However, looking at the rising demand from the customers, we decided to start the mall at Belagavi which is conveniently located for people from these three states,” Chandrashekhar said.
Giving further details, another director of the group B U C Chandrashekhar said BSC has the widest range of all varieties and range of garments, sarees and other textile materials.
B C Shivakumar, B C Vivek, B S Mrunal, B C Ved and others were present at the news conference.
