Kings School excels at CBSE exam

PANAJI: For the sixth consecutive year, The King’s School Margao secured 100 per cent pass percentage at the Xth CBSE exams.

In all 123 students appeared for the exams, of which 16 students scored a full CGPA of 10 out of 10. Nearly 106 students (86 per cent of the batch) passed with distinction, while remaining 17 passed with first class (14 per cent).

School director Ligia Pereira said, “Our students’ focused attention and their participation in sports, annual activities, clubs and excelling at inter-school competitions have made us proud. Our teachers too were dedicated to bringing out the best in the students.”

PANAJI Come June 1, the Fisheries department will seal diesel pumps at jetties around the State as part of the annual 61-day fishing ban.
