Kadamba Transport Corporation Employees Union has suspended it’s month-long strike saying the government has conceded most of its demands.
Workers of the State-owned public transporter had been on strike at Azad Maidan in the city from earlier this week.
The AITUC-affiliated union said the KTCL Management will officially sign an agreement with the employees union related to their demands.
Some of the demands accepted by the government include payment of VII Pay Commission pay scales, clearing past arrears, buying new buses and hiring replacement drivers on contract basis, the Union leaders said.
