SANGUEM
A landslide occurred on the hillock leading to the Savari waterfall at Netravali on Thursday, following two days of heavy rainfall in the village.
The incident caused damage to the steps constructed by the Goa Forest Development Corporation, which are used by visitors to access the waterfall. Fortunately, no casualties were reported as a result of the landslide.
The Savari waterfall, nestled within the dense forest of the Netravali Wildlife Sanctuary, is a popular attraction and draws a significant number of tourists and locals, particularly during the monsoon season, who flock to witness its natural beauty.
