The Save Mhadei, Save Goa Front on Wednesday demanded that Chief Minister Pramod Sawant should immediately bring the fire that has engulfed the Mhadei wildlife sanctuary or resign from office.
Saying that the ongoing fire incident seemed to be a well calculated move to diver the public’s attention from Mhadei and other burning issues plaguing the state, Front’s South Goa office bearers on Wednesday said the fire that has engulfed the Mhadei wildlife sanctuary is a matter of deep concern.
They wondered how there can be sudden fires at a number of places when no such fire incidents have been reported in the neighbouring staes.
