Missing Panaji-based restaurant worker found dead at Altinho

PANAJI

A Panaji-based restaurant worker, who went missing on August 30, was found dead in Altinho on Tuesday.

The mysterious death of the youth has baffled Goa Police which continues to tackle an increase in crime over the last few days.

The body, meanwhile, was sent to the Goa Medical College and Hospital for postmortem following procedures to be completed by his family. The restaurant employees will be quizzed in connection with the matter even as it is not known if a missing complaint was filed with the Panaji police station.

Incidentally, the State saw another similar case wherein a decomposed body of an unknown person was located at Anjuna, near the controversial Curlies beach shack restaurant.
