Nat’l Health Survey: Mapusa residents urged to cooperate

The Mapusa Municipal Council has issued an appeal to residents, urging them to cooperate with officials conducting a National Family Health Survey.  

This survey is a crucial initiative by the Government of India, aimed at gathering comprehensive data on health and family welfare across the nation.  

Mapusa Chief Officer, Chandrakant Shetkar, released an official notice informing the public about the survey.  

According to the notice, the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare has appointed VONE India Services Pvt Ltd to carry out the ‘National Family Health Survey’ within the jurisdiction of the Mapusa Municipal Council.  

The survey will be conducted by Ashu Khan and Jitendra Kumar, who have been designated as the mapper and lister for this initiative.  

These officials will be visiting households in Mapusa to collect data and ensure the survey’s successful completion.  

Shetkar emphasized the importance of resident cooperation for the smooth execution of the survey.  

“The residents of Mapusa are requested to extend their cooperation and coordination to the officials of VONE India for the smooth conduct of the survey,” Shetkar stated in the notice.  

The National Family Health Survey is a significant effort to assess and improve health and family welfare services across India.  

The data collected will be instrumental in shaping future health policies and programmes, aiming to enhance the well-being of the population.  

Residents are encouraged to welcome the officials and provide the necessary information to facilitate the survey process.
