Covid cases jumped in Margao from a total of 188 a day ago to 210 on Saturday, indicating there’s no respite in the number of coronavirus cases in the commercial capital.
Sources also informed that a higher secondary institution in Salcete has also reported a couple of Covid cases, prompting the teaching and non-teaching staff to rush to the South Goa district hospital to undergo Covid tests.
Health officials informed that Covid cases have been on the rise in the commercial capital in recent days. “That 22 fresh cases were reported in the city indicates the rising trend in Margao,” the official added.
