Omkar Creations celebrates anniversary
BICHOLIM: Sandhya Chari, Archana Kanekar and Santoshi Narvekar won the first three prizes in the cooking contest organised by Omkar Creations Sakhali.
The contest was organised on the occasion of the anniversary celebration of Omkar Creations at Toyneshwar temple, Maulingtad-Sakhali.
The contest was judged by Darshana Wadkar and Lochan Gosavi.
Gomantak Marathi Academy president Prof Anil Samant was the chief guest. Dr Suresh Amonkar, Adv Swati Kerkar, Devasthan president Anandrao Desai, Omkar president Nisha Pokle and others were present.
Retired teacher of Progress HS Sakhali Damodar Naik, Dnyanajyoti HS Sarvan-Karapur headmaster Ganpat Pawaskar, poet and author Ashok Kanekar and senior bhajani artiste Suhas Kanekar were felicitated by Prof Samant. Shital Gawas compered the function, while Kala Pawaskar proposed the vote of thanks.
