Open day in hospitality sector held

PANAJI: After the recent declaration of the board examination results, students were exploring options from an array of career options available. In order to help them make a career choice VM Salgaocar Institute of International Hospitality Education (VMSIIHE) organized an open day for students and parents at its campus. The initiative offered students an insight into the hospitality industry and an opportunity to explore it as a career.

Faculty members and students interacted with visitors on the course structures, evaluation methods and other aspects. A tour of the college campus was also conducted showcasing facilities and the technology available at the campus which is affiliated to the Goa University, and which offers BSc in International Hospitality Management.
