“It (EDMs) should not come actually…I don’t know what decision the government will take on the issue…But personally I am against it,” Palyekar said.
Stating that tourism was big in Goa, he said such festivals may help boosting footfalls and if the government took a positive decision on the issue, he would not oppose it.
On the decision to hold the festival in his constituency, he said he will go as per the decision of his constituents.
“Let the government first take a decision. I will then ask my people and accordingly decide,” Palyekar said.
