Police to send viscera for further probe

Curchorem Police will send the viscera of the body of Rajesh Dessai, brother of former minister Ramrao Dessai, for further analysis, even as 17 persons have been questioned in connection with rnthe death.

Speaking to The Goan, Curchorem PI Ravindra Dessai informed that Curchorem police would send the viscera of the body to Hyderabad within the next two days.  
“An analysis on the viscera will ascertain further details into the death,” PI 
Dessai said.  
He informed that Curchorem Police has, so far, interrogated 17 persons in connection with the death.  
It may be recalled that Rajesh Dessai, who was acquitted in the Sameer Mapari murder case, was found lying dead under mysterious condition at his farmhouse at Soliyem, Curchorem on March 3.

IOC on alert, asks Vasco police for added security

Citing security threats to oil installations across the country, the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) has requested the Vasco police to arrange additional security measures around rnthe terminal.
