Industries Minister Mahadev Naik will flag off the Carnival floats parade in Ponda on Monday, at 4 pm.
According to Irvin Soares, head of the Carnival committee, the parade will start from Menino Trade Center and will conclude at Tisk.
“MP Adv Narendra Sawaikar, local MLA Lavu Mamledar and Ponda Municipal Council Chairperson Dr Radhika Nayak will be present on the occasion,” Soares told media persons.
Belly dance performance by Tania and her Russian group will be held at Aguair ground. A special fancy dress for children in the age group of 5 to 10 years and above 11 years will be organised on the occasion.
