Ponda troupe to perform at Bikaner
PONDA: The Hauns Theater Training Center (HTTC) from Ponda will present its Hindi play ‘Tabut Zindagi’ at the Bikaner Theater Festival in Rajasthan.
According to HTTC, Anurag Kala Kendra asked HTTC members to perform their play in the festival scheduled from March 12 to 14. About 10 plays from different states will be staged at the three-day festival.
HTTC will stage its play at Town Hall-Bikaner on March 14. The play is originally written by Kavindra Phaldesai and it is translated in Hindi by Vijaykumar Naik.
Atmaram Dhargalkar, Sampada Khedekar, Shalaka Desai, Yogendra Kuncolienkar, Samir Shirodkar, Gautam Naik, Sanket Lawande and Amar Prasadi will perform. Vijaykumar Naik is the director.
The first performance of this play will be at Durbhat-Ponda on March 6, at 6.30 pm.
