Pravasi Malayali literary meet
MARGAO: The 3rd edition of Pravasi Pravasi Malayali literary meet 'Sahithya Sangamam Goa' will be held jointly by Federation of All Goa Malayalee Associations (FAGMA) and Pravasi Malayali Sahitya Koottayma (friendship circle) at Ravindra Bhavan, Margao, on June 4 and 5, at 4 pm.
The chief guest for the inaugural session will be Nila Mohanan, North Goa District Collector.
The session will be followed by Malayalam literary quiz and ONV poem recital for youngsters and a debate on Pravasi's 'Dream Kerala.'
On June 5, a poets' meet will be held at 8.30 am. 'Akshar Kairali', a book release, book introduction, sharing of writers' experience and felicitation of writers will be at 10 am, at which Tomazinho Cardozo will be chief guest. Short film exhibition will be at 2 pm followed by a multilingual writers' debate on 'Challenges before new writers of contemporary India.'
At the concluding session Babu K Raghavan (FAGMA vice-president) will award Pravasi Sahithya Sangamam Kavitha Puraskar-2016 to Rajan Kinattinkara for his work Kalabhedangal.
Winners of various competitions will be awarded prizes.
