A Russian woman was arrested on charges of possessing drugs in Mandrem.
According to police reports, a police team led by PSI Harish Vaigankar, PSI Vivek Halarnkar and LPSI Sumedha Naik conducted a narcotic raid at Madhlamaj-Mandrem. They arrested Anna Vatkovskaia (38) and seized charas of 85 grams worth about Rs 85,000.
The woman has been arrested and is presently in police custody. Further investigation is in progress under the supervision of PI Pernem Dattaram Raut and SDPO Pernem Sidhant Shirodkar under over supervision of SP North Shobit Saxena.
