Beleaguered employees of the South Goa Administrator of Comunidades are pinning hopes on Revenue Minister Jennifer Monserrate to get the authorities clear the salary payments of the last 10 months.
The employees have further pointed out that they look forward to the Revenue Minister to stop the transfer of comunidade employees from the South Zone to North Goa when the employees had to go without salaries for the last 10 months.
The employees have raised the question of salary payments against the backdrop of reports that the Revenue Minster is expected to pay a visit to the South Goa Collectorate on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, president of Davorlim Communidade Camilo Barretto has dashed off a letter to the Undersecretary (Revenue) filing his objection to the move to depute eight LDCs attached to the office of the Administrator of Comunidades, South zone to North Goa district.
