Sailesh heads Borim temple panel

PONDA: Shailesh Naik has been elected president of Shree Govindnath Devasthan at Tishem-Borim.

According to the Ponda Mamlatdar's office, other members elected are Vinod Tulshidas Naik (treasurer), Amrut Naik (attorney) and Prakash Naik (secretary). The new managing committee will work for the period 2016-19.

Truck operators reiterate demand for govt support to clear loans

Truck owners and members of South Goa Progressive Truck Owners Association (SGPTOA) have reiterated their request for government's financial assistance, after voicing concern over pending dues from credit societies and co-operative banks.
