State Election Commission on Wednesday notified OBC reservation for panchayat polls. SEC modified the notification to include OBC ward reservation in 185 panchayats which are likely to go for polls on August 10. The Commission had already notified SC/ST and Women Reservations before. The OBC reservations are in compliance with Supreme Court mandated Triple test guidelines, as per SEC.
